Welcome to Senior Ed which is the Pre-Kindergarten Room – Where Curiosity Meets Learning!

In our Pre-Kindergarten room, every day is an exciting adventure! Designed especially for 3-4-year-olds, this vibrant space is all about sparking imagination, fostering independence, and getting ready for school in a fun, welcoming environment. It's a special time when your child is beginning to explore the world of learning beyond play – and we’re here to guide them every step of the way.

Here, your child will have the chance to discover new things, make new friends, and develop the skills they’ll need as they prepare for Kindergarten. From learning their ABCs to understanding how the world works around them, our program strikes the perfect balance between structured activities and free play, helping kids build confidence, creativity, and a love of learning that will last a lifetime.

In the Pre-Kindergarten room, we create a space where children are encouraged to explore, ask questions, and take on new challenges with excitement. Whether it’s through storytelling, hands-on activities, or social play, our team is dedicated to supporting your child’s growth and helping them feel ready and excited for the next step in their learning journey.

Tracey Mifsud

I’m really passionate about supporting young learners and helping them grow and am currently studying for my Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care. When I’m not studying, you’ll often find me spending quality time with my daughter and two boys on our cattle property or watching footy!! We love spending time outdoors and enjoying the country life together!

One of my biggest joys is being involved with the local football teams. I've been my son's team manager since they were little, and it's been such a rewarding experience to be a part of their journey, both on and off the field.

Balancing my studies, family life, and being part of our community keeps me keep busy, but I wouldn’t have it any other way!

Cheyenne Palmer

Hi there! I’m incredibly passionate about my journey in childcare and currently studying towards my Diploma in Early Childhood Education and. Working with young children and being part of their growth and development is something that truly inspires me, and I’m excited to continue learning how to create nurturing, engaging environments where little ones can thrive.

When I’m not studying or working, I love spending quality time with my family. They’re a big part of my life and my biggest support system. I also share my home (and heart!) with two beautiful dogs—Bailey, my energetic and playful Staffy, and Bundy, my gentle brown Labrador with the kindest eyes. Whether we’re going for walks, playing in the backyard, or just snuggling on the couch, they always bring so much joy and laughter to my day.

I believe that building strong, positive relationships—whether with children, families, or furry companions—is at the heart of everything I do. I’m looking forward to growing even more in this field and bringing warmth, fun, and care into every learning environment I’m part of.

Hi, I have a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care, and I’m currently studying for a Bachelor of Nursing. I’ve always had a passion for helping others, whether it’s working with kids or pursuing a career in healthcare. When I’m not busy with uni or at work, you’ll probably find me doing something active. I love going to the gym, riding motorbikes, and working with cattle. There’s something about the mix of adrenaline and the outdoors! Whether it’s the freedom of being on two wheels or the hands-on work with livestock, I enjoy staying connected to both fitness and country life.

Brady Hall

Hi, I’m currently studying my Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care. You’ll likely find me on my family’s farm, spending quality time with my loved ones. Life on the farm is always busy but it’s where I feel most at home, surrounded by nature and fresh air. Another big part of my life is sport. I love staying active, whether it's playing, watching, or simply being involved in the competitive spirit of the game.

A Typical Day in our Senior Ed Room

Outdoor play

The day begins with outdoor play—an energetic and joyful start that gets bodies moving and minds engaged. Whether children are running, climbing, building, or drawing with chalk, this time is perfect for developing gross motor skills, coordination, and those important early social skills like cooperation and sharing.

Focused learning indoors

Then we transition indoors for focused learning time, where hands-on activities like arts and crafts, group discussions, and imaginative storytelling help children explore new ideas and build critical thinking skills in a fun, interactive way.

Rest & connection

Throughout the day we make space for rest and connection. Morning and afternoon tea are relaxed moments where children enjoy healthy snacks, chat with friends, and practice their table manners and communication skills. Lunch is a cozy, social experience followed by a quiet rest period, giving everyone a chance to recharge. We know how important it is for children to have time to unwind, so they feel refreshed and ready for more learning and play.

Outdoor play

We wrap up the day outdoors, giving everyone a final chance to burn off any remaining energy and just have fun. At this stage, children are becoming more independent, socially aware, and eager to learn—and we’re here to guide and support them every step of the way.

With a balance of structure, creativity, movement, and heart, our Senior Ed program lays a strong foundation for a smooth and confident transition into school and beyond.
